Update package preparation

This section covers the steps for getting and preparing the SoftExpert Suite update package.

  1. To get the update packages, access SoftExpert's website: http://www.softexpert.com.
  2. Click on Customer Center and, from the customer portal page, click on Click here to access the Portal.
  3. Enter your user and password, then click on Login.
  4. Access the Distribution Center - SE 2.0 section in the navigation pane. At the top of the Distribution Center page, click on the Downloads menu.
  5. Download the UPDATE-2.2.X-WINDOWS.zip update package from the Release update section.

For 4th-digit update, use the package generated after the completion of your ticket in the SoftExpert Customer Center.

  1. After saving the packages, run the SoftExpert Suite installation, following the procedure described in the next topic.

  • None of the downloaded files must have their names changed, or the installer will not recognize them.
