Data source blocking

In the last patches released for the version, data source blocking has been implemented, which is an essential measure to ensure the security, integrity, and performance of the system. With these updates, we seek to boost the reliability of the platform by minimizing risks that may compromise the data sources, which are vital for system operation.

How do I know if my data source has been blocked?

You can find out if your data source has been blocked by checking its status through the REST data source (AD052) menu or the Web Service data source (AD053) menu.

Additionally, you can access this information on the Alerts (CM034) menu, by searching for "REST data source monitoring" or "Web service data source monitoring"; this way, you can check the health of your data source and identify any block-related issues.

My data source has been blocked. What should I do?

There are two main rules for data sources to be blocked. The first consists of a minimum of 100 requests every 24 hours. Moreover, for the block to be activated, 75% of the requests need to present an error or failure.

The block will be activated when both rules are met. Below is an example of how statuses are shown on the Alerts menu.
