SoftExpert Identity update

• The update of the SoftExpert Identity application is not mandatory every new release of the product. However, it should be performed if there is need to use the new features of the application.
• We highly recommend backing up the se-identity.xml file so that the app settings can be retrieved.

To update SoftExpert Identity, you must first download it.

1. Navigate to the SoftExpert Configuration component and access the "Configuration > Authentication" menu.
2. Click on the button to download the se-identity.zip application file.
3. Decompress the file.

After generating the new se-identity.xml, adjust the field values to the values contained in your backup. If there are new values to be configured, see the "Additional procedures > Single Sign-On with AD > SoftExpert Identity" section in the Installation Guide for more details on how to fill them in.
