Automatic authentication (Optional)

By enabling Single Sign-On, you can use the automatic system authentication feature. This option causes user sessions to start automatically when any system page is accessed, such as a link received via e-mail, for example.

In this mode, the login screen will only be displayed if the URL entered has the specific address of the login page – for example:

https://example.softexpert.com/softexpert/login

However, you must pay attention to some things when enabling this feature, such as:

  • Only users who are synchronized with the directory service will be authenticated automatically;
  • Internal users can access the system by typing only the URL of the login page;
  • When accessing the system from a computer outside the domain, the user may be redirected to an identity provider authentication page. After correctly entering their credentials on that page, the user will be redirected back to SoftExpert Suite.

It is important to consider these conditions and ensure that this configuration is aligned with the organization's security policies and needs.
