In this section, we provide some tips to help you become familiar with importing data into SoftExpert Suite through a database interface (Middleware). This resource is especially useful for business users who do not have knowledge of web services and REST APIs.

Currently, there are two methods for importing data using this interface:

  1. Electronic file in XLS or XLSX format, which can be imported through the CM015 module or via REST API.
  2. Execution of scripts directly in the interface table, allowing the manipulation and insertion of data in a more direct and customized way.

By using these options, you can integrate and manage data in SoftExpert Suite in an efficient and simplified manner, even without advanced technical knowledge in web services and REST APIs.

In this section, you will find information concerning:

  1. Technical overview: This section presents a diagram that illustrates the integration architecture and its operation.
  2. Interface data template: Here, we detail the fields in the DIINTERFACE table and in the header of the .xls import file.
  3. Data loading on the interface: This section explains the process of loading data into the DIINTERFACE table.
  4. XLS/XLSX file structure definition: In this section, we describe how to correctly use and fill out the .xls file for import.
  5. Error detection and correction: Here, we explain how to identify and fix records that have not been successfully imported.
  6. Published interfaces: Finally, we present a list of all interfaces published in the system and the information necessary for completing each one. This section will be located under Reference. By understanding these topics, you will be better prepared to manage and integrate data in SoftExpert Suite through the database interface (Middleware).

Additionally, check out other forms of integration with SoftExpert Suite in our article on the SoftExpert Suite integration, which can be accessed through this link.
