Interval of trusted IPs for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

In version 2.2.1, it is possible to register intervals of trusted IPs so that they do NOT apply MFA validation.

Thus, the system administrator can define an IP address list from which users can login without verifying their identity with MFA, which offers greater flexibility and control over MFA authentication policies.

Instructions on setting up intervals of trusted IPs for MFA:

1. Go to Authentication configuration:

Navigate to the authentication configurations through this path: "Configuration > Authentication (CM008)".

Active Directory

2. Select "Trusted IPs":

Within the configurations, choose the "Interval of trusted IPs" option.

3. Set intervals of trusted IPs:

In the corresponding section, configure the IP intervals that will not require MFA validation.

To add a valid IP interval, just follow the steps below:

  1. On the previously highlighted screen, click the + button.

  2. The following screen will open to start the configuration:

Active Directory

  1. There, enter the start IP address.

  2. Enter the end IP address.

  3. Type an optional description to help with identification.

  4. Save the settings to add the trusted IPs.
