Authentication options based on directory service credentials

For authentication to SoftExpert Suite using credentials maintained in a directory service, users must be synchronized with the service, and a suitable authentication mode must be configured. It is important to remember that:

Only users previously synchronized with the directory service can authenticate themselves to SoftExpert Suite. The system does not store the passwords of synchronized users, and it is the directory service's responsibility to manage them. There are two groups of authentication modes available in the system for use with a directory service:

1. Authentication mode with username and password via NTLM v2 or LDAP
2. Single sign-on with SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect
