Database equalization
In a new update or a 3rd-digit update, the database must be updated. This is called equalization.
The database will be equalized with the version specified during the installation of the SoftExpert Suite application, so beware! Moreover, we recommend backing up the database before equalizing it. In this step, the SoftExpert Suite application container will be downloaded and stored in the installation directory, and the equalization will begin as soon as the download ends, if no database connection error occurs; if it does, check the troubleshooting section.
IF YOU HAVE THE DATABASE EQUALIZED, YOU CAN SKIP TO THE STEP ON STARTING THE SOFTEXPERT SUITE CONTAINER; THE CONTAINER WILL BEGIN THE DOWNLOAD AT THE SOFTEXPERT SUITE STARTUP STEP EVEN IF YOU SKIP THE EQUALIZATION STEP.
IMPORTANT: We recommend restarting the machine on which the installation is in order to prevent the following error while running the script: 'hnscall failed in win32: you were not connected because a duplicate name exists on the network'.
