caution
- From version 2.2.0 onwards, installations will no longer have the same application server. Updates, however, will continue to use these servers.
- For new installations only, IIS with Apache Tomcat 9 is embedded in the Docker container used by the new Windows installation model, whereas NGinx 1.20 and Apache Tomcat 9 are embedded in Linux containers.

¹ - Not compatible with the 32-bit emulation mode.
² - Requires the compilation of this component during installation (pre-compiled packages, such as RPM and DEB, are not compatible).
³ - For SoftExpert Suite version 2.1.3 or later to be installed, Apache Tomcat 7.0.100 or later will be required. In SoftExpert Suite update processes, versions earlier than 7.0.100 may still be used.
⁴ - We recommend updating Tomcat to version 9 when updating SoftExpert Suite to version 2.1.7. Both the installation and update processes are validated with Apache Tomcat 9.
