This section covers in detail the SoftExpert Suite hardware requirements for both the application server and the database server.

- These hardware requirements are based on the regular use of the solution. If you use the SoftExpert Analytics component to analyze data from other databases or to create complex integrations in the BPM module, contact SoftExpert for a customized requirement analysis before the deployment.
- The requirements mentioned in this section are applicable from SoftExpert Suite version 2.1.0 to the latest version.

- The server on which SoftExpert Suite will be installed or updated must have at least 50 GB of free space. ▪Executing the application on a server with requirements below those recommended may result in inadequate performance. ▪SoftExpert Suite may be installed in a virtual server infrastructure, but the requirements described above should be allocated to the VM (Virtual machine) on which the solution will be installed.
- The network bandwidth and the disk IOPS must be compatible with a server environment. For the application server, SoftExpert suggests using 15k RPM SAS disks or SSD.
- We highly recommend installing the database server on a different server, that is, the database should not be installed on the same server used by the application.
- The performance of the database server will directly affect the performance of the application. Thus, we highly recommend checking if your database infrastructure will support SoftExpert's solution.
- We highly recommend storing user content (document files) in a different server or in NAS (Network Attached Storage). ▪ High network latency may result in low navigation performance. A maximum of 40 ms is recommended.

In the case of multiple SoftExpert Suite installations, the number of users for each installation must be summed. For example, if there are two databases for the same server – one for the testing environment and another for the production environment –, the number of users in the two environments must be summed in order for the server configuration to be set.

The equipment is considered to be dedicated for running SoftExpert Suite and its requirements, without concurrent pieces of software and DBMSs (if that occurs, consider the sum of the requirements of each piece of software involved).
