Errors that can occur in user synchronization

For situations in which synchronization ends with the "Finished with errors" status, you need to check the history log details and navigate to the "Users with errors" logs to identify the cause of the problem. The table below presents the possible errors and their corresponding solutions:

ErrorSolution
Repeated IDCheck the value mapped for the "ID" field in the domain configurations and make sure there are no duplicate or conflicting records.
Leader not foundCheck your domain configuration and adjust the "Filter" and "Directory" fields to ensure the user's leader is imported. You can also enable the "Ignore errors of leader not found" option to import the user, even if the leader is not found.
"distinguishedName" AD attribute is nullThis message is only displayed when leader synchronization is enabled, and the attribute used to identify the record was not found. It is possible that the directory service does not have the attribute enabled, or the service is of the OpenLDAP type, for which the system does not support leader synchronization.
There is a circular reference between leadersSoftExpert Suite does not allow a user to be the leader of their leader, or for this cycle to be created between more users (A as leader of B, B as leader of C, and C as leader of A) during the synchronization process. The user records in the directory service must be adjusted to meet this requirement.
User references themself as their own leaderDuring synchronization with the option to synchronize leader enabled, a user is not allowed to be their own leader. The user record must be adjusted in the directory service.
Invalid loginCheck if the value mapped for the attribute corresponding to the user login is not null, empty, or set to "admin". Make the necessary changes to the user record in the directory service.
More than one login record was foundIf there already is a user with the same login linked to the same domain, it is necessary to adjust this user's record in the directory service and change the login value.
It was not possible to add the user to department 'X', as the latter is not activeIt is not possible to link a user to an inactive department in SoftExpert Suite. Activate the department or change the value defined for this field in the user record in the directory service.

Make sure to follow the guidelines above to troubleshoot issues identified when synchronizing with the directory service.
