Unlinking users from a domain

It is possible to unlink a user from a domain, transforming the former into an internal user. In this case, the user will no longer be able to authenticate using the credentials maintained by the directory service, and an internal-access password will have to be set for them. The user may be associated with a domain again in a future synchronization, based on the attribute value during the first synchronization.

To unlink a user, follow these steps:

  1. Access the SoftExpert Administration component > File > Organizational unit > User (AD004).
  2. Locate the desired user.
  3. Click on "Disassociate user".

Disassociate

Disassociate all users: This option is similar to the disassociation available in the record of an individual user, but applied to all users linked to the selected domains.

It is important to remember that, after a user is disassociated, they will only be able to log in to SoftExpert Suite through internal authentication. Therefore, the authentication mode must be enabled, and the user must have a password defined in their record, in the "General data" section, under "New password", of the SoftExpert Administration component > File > Organizational unit > User (AD004).
