Setting time zone, memory, cores, and private DNS services

Procedure for defining the time zone, memory, and number of cores dedicated to the containers of the application.

  1. Make sure SoftExpert Suite is stopped.
C:\sesuite\sesuite.ps1 stop
  1. To edit time zone, memory or number of cores, run the following command:
C:\sesuite\sesuite.ps1 settings

1 - Edit timezone - Option used to edit the SoftExpert Suite time zone.

After validating the time zone that will be set, you can check which one will be used at: https://timezonedb.com/time-zones.

Time zone editing example:

2 - Edit GB of memory - Option used to edit how many GB of memory will be allocated to the SoftExpert Suite container. The minimum is 12GB, but, if the server has more resources, you can add more, depending on how much you will use.

Note: In the Task Manager, check how much memory the system has. It is important for this configuration to be decided on between the system administrator and the customer.

3 - Edit processors cores - Option used to specify how many processor cores will be allocated to the container. The minimum is 6, but, if the server has more, check how many will be used in the system requirements.

4 - Edit DNS - Option used to add/remove DNS server configuration.

If you want to add DNS, select:

1 - Add DNS, and add the DNS server IP.

If you want to remove the current DNS configuration, select this option:

2 - Remove DNS.
